The Dungeon is a twine game set in a world with adventurers who scavenge dungeons and caves for rewards. A routine clearing of a dungeon later, this particular group is about to reap those rewards! Right..?


The design process for this game started with thinking about how I could incorporate one of the themes required -- looting, concession, vision, salad, and tool. I thought of many ideas and eventually settled on a group of adventurers getting stuck in a dungeon. It was fun to think about the storyline and how things led up to points in the game, and playtesting definitely helped fix bugs, add new ideas, and remove some that didn't make much sense.
